Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Beef
Wrap the prime beef tenderloin tightly in plastic wrap and freeze for about 1-2 hours until firm but not completely frozen. This makes it easier to slice thinly.
- 2
Slice the Beef
Using a sharp knife, slice the beef into very thin slices. Arrange the slices on a large serving plate, slightly overlapping them.
- 3
Prepare the Dressing
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, juice of the lemon, chili flakes, salt, and pepper to taste.
- 4
Add Toppings
Drizzle the dressing over the arranged beef slices. Scatter the crispy capers and freshly chopped parsley on top.
- 5
Serve
Serve the carpaccio with slices of focaccia bread on the side.
