Directions
- 1
Prepare the Tuna
Heat a skillet over high heat. Season the sushi-grade tuna with sea salt on all sides. Sear the tuna for about 1-2 minutes on each side, or until the outside is golden brown but the inside remains rare. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- 2
Make the Dressing
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, wasabi paste, sesame oil, and lime juice. Set aside.
- 3
Prepare the Plate
On a serving plate, create a bed with microgreens or arugula. Slice the seared tuna thinly and arrange it over the greens.
- 4
Add Toppings
Slice the avocado and arrange it next to the tuna. Drizzle the prepared dressing over the tuna and greens, and sprinkle black sesame seeds on top.
- 5
Serve
Add pickled ginger on the side and serve immediately for the best flavor and freshness.
