Prepare the Espresso
Brew a fresh shot of espresso and set aside to cool slightly.

Mix the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine Belvedere vodka, Kahlua, simple syrup, and the shot of espresso.

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass.
