Method

Beverages

  1. 1

    Juicing the Lemons

Cut the fresh lemons in half and use a juicer to extract the juice. You should have about 1 to 1.5 cups of lemon juice. Strain the juice to remove seeds and pulp.

  2. 2

Mixing the Sugar and Lemon Juice

In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar. Stir well until the sugar is fully dissolved.

  3. 3

    Adding Water

Slowly pour in the gallon of water into the pitcher while stirring. Adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar or lemon juice to taste.

  4. 4

    Chilling the Lemonade

Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 30 minutes to chill it thoroughly.

  5. 5

    Serving

Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the chilled lemonade over the ice, and garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves as desired.
