Preparation of Main Components
- 1
Grill the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from grill and allow to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- 2
Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels to remove excess grease.
- 3
Prepare the Vegetables
Wash and dry the lettuce leaves. Slice the tomato into thin rounds.
- 4
Assemble the Sandwich
On one slice of Texas toast, spread 1 tablespoon of ranch dressing. Layer with sliced grilled chicken, 2 slices of cooked bacon, lettuce, tomato slices, jack cheese, and cheddar cheese. Top with another slice of Texas toast and repeat for the remaining sandwiches.
- 5
Toast the Sandwich
In a skillet or panini press, toast the assembled sandwiches over medium heat until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
