Prepare the Chicken Tenders
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a mixing bowl, season the chicken tenders with salt and black pepper.

Bake the Chicken
Arrange the coated chicken tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until fully cooked and crispy.

Assemble the Sandwich
Once the chicken tenders are cooked, place 2 tenders on 2 slices of toasted Texas toast. Top each with a slice of Monterey jack cheese. Place the remaining slices of toast on top to create a sandwich.

Melt the Cheese
Return the sandwiches to the skillet, cooking on medium heat for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
