Prepare the Phyllo Dough
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Melt the butter in a small bowl. Lay out the phyllo dough, and cover it with a damp cloth to prevent it from drying out.
- 3
Layer the Baklava
Take a sheet of phyllo dough, brush it with melted butter, and repeat this process with 5-7 sheets for the base. Spread a layer of peanut butter over the dough, followed by a layer of chocolate chips. Continue layering phyllo, peanut butter, and chocolate until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of phyllo on top.
- 4
Bake
Cut the baklava into diamond shapes before baking. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
- 5
Add the Syrup
Once baked, remove from oven and immediately pour the cooled syrup over the hot baklava. Allow it to soak for at least 30 minutes before serving.
