Fries
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Potatoes
Peel the Russet potatoes and cut them into thin strips to form fries. Soak the cut fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
- 2
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 3
Season the Fries
Drain the soaked fries and pat them dry with a kitchen towel. In a large mixing bowl, toss the fries with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- 4
Bake the Fries
Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- 5
Garnish and Serve
Once baked, remove the fries from the oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
