Prepare the Glass
Rim the edge of a tall glass with lime juice and dip it into coarse salt to coat the rim. Set aside.

Mix the Cocktail
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine 2 oz of tequila, 1 oz of lime juice, and 0.5 oz of agave syrup. Shake well until the mixture is chilled.

Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice, then top with 4 oz of grapefruit soda. Stir gently to combine.
