Crab Dip Ingredients

Method

Preparation Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Start by gathering all the ingredients. Rinse the lump crab meat in cold water and drain it well to remove any excess liquid or shell pieces.

  2. 2

    Mix the Cream Cheese

In a medium mixing bowl, soften the cream cheese by letting it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes. Once softened, use a hand mixer or a spoon to blend until smooth.

  3. 3

    Add Seasonings

To the cream cheese, add lemon juice, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well until all seasonings are incorporated.

  4. 4

Fold in the Crab and Green Onions

Gently fold the lump crab meat into the cream cheese mixture. Be careful not to break up the crab too much. Chop the green onions finely and fold them into the mixture as well.

  5. 5

    Chill the Dip

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the crab dip for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

  6. 6

    Serve with Pita Chips

Once chilled, serve the crab dip in a serving bowl alongside the pita chips for dipping.
