Pasta Preparation

Cook the Fettuccine
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Grill the Chicken
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and juices run clear. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Make the Alfredo Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Combine and Serve
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked fettuccine with the Alfredo sauce until well coated. Serve on plates topped with sliced grilled chicken and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
