In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the linguine or spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Pasta

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and olive oil together. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Sauté the Shrimp

Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.

Add the Shrimp

Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Allow to simmer for about 2-3 minutes.

Deglaze the Pan

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce. Stir in the chopped parsley and adjust seasoning as needed.

Combine with Pasta

Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
