Prepare Edamame
Start by rinsing the edamame pods under cold water to remove any dirt or impurities.

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 1 liter of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

Steam Edamame
Once the water is boiling, carefully add the rinsed edamame pods to the pot. Cover with a lid and allow them to steam for about 5-6 minutes until they are tender and bright green.

Drain and Salt
After steaming, carefully drain the edamame in a colander. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of salt over the hot edamame while they are still warm, tossing to evenly coat.

Serve
Transfer the salted edamame to a serving bowl. Serve warm and enjoy by popping the beans out of the pods with your fingers.
