Method

Preparation of Shrimp

  1. 1

    Marinate the Shrimp

In a large bowl, combine the shrimp with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.

Preparation of Sweet Sriracha Sauce

  1. 2

    Make the Sauce

In a small bowl, whisk together the sriracha sauce, honey, soy sauce, lime juice, and sesame oil until well combined. Set aside.

Cooking the Shrimp

  1. 3

    Cook the Shrimp

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp to the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp are pink and opaque.

  2. 4

    Add the Sauce

Reduce the heat to medium, pour the sweet sriracha sauce over the cooked shrimp, and stir gently to coat the shrimp evenly. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce is heated through.

Serving

  1. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Remove the shrimp from heat. Transfer to a serving platter, and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately with rice or noodles, if desired.
