Method

Burger Directions

1

Prepare the Beef Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

2

Form Patties

Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 3/4 inch thick.

3

Cook the Patties

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

4

Add Cheese (optional)

If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking to let it melt.

5

Assemble the Burgers

On each burger bun, layer lettuce, a cooked patty, tomato slices, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun and set aside.

French Fries Directions

6

Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.

7

Soak the Fries

Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat dry with paper towels.

8

Heat the Oil

In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

9

Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

10

Season the Fries

While the fries are still hot, sprinkle with salt to taste.
