Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Vegetables

Start by washing all the vegetables thoroughly. Cut the heirloom tomatoes into wedges and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Asparagus

Trim the tough ends off the asparagus. Blanch the asparagus in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until bright green, then immediately transfer to ice water to stop the cooking. Drain and set aside.

  3. 3

    Slice the Radishes

Thinly slice the radishes and set them aside.

Assembling the Plate

  1. 4

    Arrange the Ingredients

On a large serving plate, place the burrata cheese at the center. Arrange the heirloom tomato wedges, blanched asparagus, and sliced radishes around it.

  2. 5

    Add Fresh Herbs

Garnish the plate with fresh basil leaves and sprinkle chopped chives over the top.

Dressing the Plate

  1. 6

    Prepare the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together the extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 7

    Drizzle the Dressing

Drizzle the dressing over the assembled burrata plate, ensuring all ingredients are lightly coated.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve Immediately

Serve the Seasonal Burrata Plate immediately with crusty bread or crostini on the side for dipping.
