Prepare the Fruit

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Core and slice the apples and pears into thin wedges or cubes. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples and pears with granulated sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Toss well to coat the fruit evenly.

Place in Baking Dish

Transfer the fruit mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.

Mix Dry Ingredients

In a separate mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, and salt. Stir until well combined.

Add Butter and Pecans

Melt the butter and pour it over the dry mixture. Add the chopped pecans. Use a fork or your fingers to mix until the crumb topping resembles coarse crumbs.

Top the Fruit

Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the fruit mixture in the baking dish.

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly.
