Preparation
- 1
Cook the Bacon
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the applewood smoked bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and let drain on paper towels.
- 2
Prepare the BBQ Sauce
In a small saucepan, heat the BBQ sauce over low heat until warmed through, about 3-4 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.
- 3
Prepare the Vegetables
Wash and dry the lettuce. Slice the tomato into thick slices.
- 4
Toast the Artisan Roll
Slice the artisan roll in half and toast lightly in a toaster or on a skillet until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
Assembly
- 5
Layer the Ingredients
Spread a generous amount of the warmed BBQ sauce on the bottom half of the toasted artisan roll.
- 6
Add the Bacon
Place the crispy bacon strips over the BBQ sauce.
- 7
Add Onion Straws
Top the bacon with a cup of onion straws.
- 8
Add Lettuce and Tomato
Layer the lettuce leaves and tomato slices on top of the onion straws.
- 9
Finish with Smokeshow Sauce
Drizzle the smokeshow sauce over the top, and then place the top half of the artisan roll on to complete the sandwich.
