BBQ Meats

Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Meats

Season the beef brisket, pork ribs, chicken thighs, and sausages with your choice of dry rub. Let them marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.

2

Preheat the Grill or Smoker

Preheat your grill or smoker to 225°F (107°C) for slow cooking. Make sure to have enough charcoal or wood for smoking.

3

Cook the Meats

Place the brisket on the grill first as it takes the longest, cooking for about 1.5 to 2 hours per pound. After 2-3 hours, add the pork ribs, cooking for an additional 3-4 hours. Finally, add the chicken thighs and sausages, cooking for another 30-45 minutes until fully cooked.

4

Prepare the Sides

While the meats are cooking, prepare the coleslaw and cornbread according to their respective recipes. Set out BBQ sauce and pickles for dipping.

5

Serve

Once the meats are cooked and rested, slice the brisket, and arrange all meats on a large platter. Serve with coleslaw, cornbread, BBQ sauce, and pickles.
