Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Slice the Potatoes

Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly (about 1/8 inch thick).

Layer the Ingredients

In a greased baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes. Sprinkle with half of the garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add half of the cheddar cheese. Repeat with the remaining potatoes and seasonings, finishing with a layer of cheese.
