Preparation

1

Prepare the Marinate

In a large bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix well to create the BBQ sauce.

2

Marinate the Meat

Add chicken thighs and pork ribs into the bowl with the BBQ sauce. Ensure they are fully coated. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for better flavor.

Grilling

3

Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, about 375°F (190°C). Ensure the grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

4

Grill the Meat

Remove the chicken and ribs from the marinade, letting excess sauce drip off. Place them on the grill. Grill chicken for about 6-8 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Grill pork ribs for about 15-20 minutes, brushing with additional BBQ sauce every 5 minutes until they are tender and caramelized.

5

Rest and Garnish

Once cooked, remove the meat from the grill and let it rest for about 5 minutes. Chop fresh parsley and sprinkle over the grilled meat for garnish before serving.
