Preparing the Blackened Tuna

In a small bowl, combine paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, black pepper, and salt. Mix well to create a spice blend.

Sear the Tuna
Once the oil is hot, carefully place the seasoned tuna steaks in the skillet. Sear for about 1-2 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer if you prefer it well done.

Rest the Tuna
Remove the tuna from the skillet and let it rest for a couple of minutes before slicing.
Making the Wasabi Mayo Sauce

In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, wasabi paste, lemon juice, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
