Frosting Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Dough

In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. In a saucepan, heat the milk and butter until warm (not hot). Add to the dry ingredients and mix well. Add the eggs and knead the dough until smooth. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Filling

In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and ground cinnamon. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Roll the Dough

After the dough has risen, roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle. Spread softened butter over the dough and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly on top.

  4. 4

    Shape the Rolls

Starting from one edge, tightly roll the dough into a log. Cut into 12 equal pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.

  5. 5

    Second Rise

Cover the rolls with a towel and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

  6. 6

    Bake

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

  7. 7

    Make the Frosting

While the rolls are baking, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  8. 8

    Frost the Rolls

Once the rolls are out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes before spreading the frosting on top.
