Prepare the Pork Roast
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Pat the Boston butt pork roast dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub the spice mixture all over the pork roast.

Sear the Roast
In a large oven-safe skillet or Dutch oven, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, sear the pork roast on all sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove the roast and set aside.

Rest and Serve
Once cooked, remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for 20-30 minutes before slicing. Serve with the black grape au jus drizzled over the top.
