Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Clean the Mushrooms

Gently clean the fresh truffle and cremini mushrooms with a damp cloth to remove any dirt. Avoid washing them directly under water as mushrooms absorb moisture.

  2. 2

    Chop the Garlic and Herbs

Finely mince the garlic cloves and chop the fresh thyme and parsley. Set them aside for later use.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Sauté the Mushrooms

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the cleaned truffle and cremini mushrooms. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they turn golden brown.

  2. 4

    Add Garlic and Herbs

Add the minced garlic, fresh thyme, and parsley to the skillet. Stir well and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the garlic is fragrant.

  3. 5

    Deglaze with Wine

Pour in the white wine and deglaze the pan by scraping the bottom with a wooden spoon. Let it cook for about 2 minutes until the wine reduces slightly.

  4. 6

    Add Broth and Season

Pour in the vegetable broth and season with salt and black pepper. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for another 5-10 minutes until the flavors meld.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Once cooked, remove from heat and serve the truffle mushrooms in a bowl. Drizzle with extra olive oil if desired and garnish with additional parsley.
