Preparation

  1. 1

    Wash the Oranges

Thoroughly wash the fresh oranges under running water to remove any pesticides or dirt.

  2. 2

    Cut the Oranges

Slice the oranges in half using a sharp knife. Make sure to cut through the middle to expose the juicy segments.

Juicing

  1. 3

    Juice the Oranges

Using the juicer, extract the juice from each half of the orange. Place the orange halves in the juicer and press down firmly. Collect the juice in a measuring cup.

  2. 4

    Add Filtered Water

After juicing all the oranges, add 1 cup of filtered water to the orange juice to dilute it slightly, if desired.

  3. 5

    Sweeten with Honey (optional)

If you prefer a sweeter taste, add 2 tablespoons of honey to the juice and stir well until fully dissolved.

Serving

  1. 6

    Strain the Juice

If you prefer a smoother juice without pulp, pour the juice through a strainer into a pitcher to remove any pulp.

  2. 7

    Serve Chilled

Chill the juice in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving or serve immediately over ice.
