Juicing Process
- 1
Prepare the Grapefruits
Wash the fresh grapefruits thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt or pesticides.
- 2
Cut the Grapefruits
Using a sharp knife, cut each grapefruit in half horizontally.
- 3
Juice the Grapefruits
Using a citrus juicer or reamer, extract the juice from each half of the grapefruits into a measuring cup or bowl.
- 4
Strain the Juice (optional)
If you prefer a pulp-free juice, strain the extracted juice through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a pitcher.
- 5
Sweeten the Juice (optional)
Taste the juice and if you find it too tart, stir in honey one tablespoon at a time until desired sweetness is achieved.
- 6
Serve and Garnish
Pour the freshly squeezed grapefruit juice into glasses. Garnish each glass with a mint leaf.
