Roasted Garlic Aioli Ingredients

Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Form the Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined, then form into 4 equal patties.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your brick oven to 450°F (232°C). If you do not have a brick oven, a regular oven can work, but the cooking time may vary.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Place the patties in the brick oven and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Add Cheese and Prosciutto

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Fontina cheese on each patty and add a slice of prosciutto on top. Allow it to melt slightly.

  5. 5

    Toast the Buns

In the last 2 minutes of cooking, place the burger buns in the oven to toast lightly.

Roasted Garlic Aioli Preparation

  1. 6

    Roast the Garlic

Wrap the garlic cloves in aluminum foil with a drizzle of olive oil. Roast in the oven for about 30-35 minutes until soft and caramelized.

  2. 7

    Blend the Aioli

Once the garlic is cool, squeeze the cloves out into a bowl. Add mayonnaise, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Assembly

  1. 8

    Assemble the Burgers

Spread a generous amount of roasted garlic aioli on the bottom half of each toasted burger bun. Place the cooked burger patty with melted Fontina and prosciutto on top, then cover with the top bun.
