Prepare the Dough
In a small bowl, combine the warm milk (about 110°F) with the active dry yeast and sugar. Allow it to sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.

Mix Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, eggs, and the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead the Dough
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth. Add melted butter and continue kneading until absorbed.

Rise the Dough
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Bake the Babas
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Divide the dough into small portions and place them in greased baba molds. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Soak the Babas
Remove the babas from the oven and soak in the rum syrup for about 10 minutes. Allow to cool.

Soak Gelatin
Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water for about 5 minutes.

Melt Chocolate
In a heatproof bowl, melt the white chocolate over a pot of simmering water, stirring until smooth.

Heat Cream and Milk
In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream and milk until just below boiling. Remove from heat.

Combine Ingredients
Add the soaked gelatin to the warm cream mixture and stir until dissolved. Pour over the melted white chocolate and mix well.

Chill Namelaka
Let the mixture cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.

Prepare Oranges
Slice the oranges into thin rounds, removing any seeds.

Cool and Dry
Remove the candied orange slices from the syrup and place them on a wire rack to cool and dry.
