Fried Green Tomatoes

Prepare the Tomatoes
Slice the green tomatoes into 1/4 inch thick slices. Season with salt and pepper.

Breading Setup
Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with buttermilk, and one with cornmeal.

Bread the Tomatoes
Dredge each tomato slice in flour, dip in buttermilk, then coat with cornmeal.

Fry the Tomatoes
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded tomatoes until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Drain
Remove the fried tomatoes and drain on paper towels.
Pimento Cheese

Mix Ingredients
In a bowl, combine sharp cheddar, cream cheese, pimentos, garlic powder, onion powder, and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth.

Chill
Refrigerate the pimento cheese for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Apple Cider Gastrique

Combine Ingredients
In a saucepan, combine apple cider vinegar, sugar, and water.

Cook
Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook until reduced by half, about 10 minutes.
Neuske’s Bacon

Cook the Bacon
In a skillet, cook the Neuske’s bacon over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
