Preparation Directions

1

Prepare the Dough

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.

2

Mix Dry Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and cinnamon.

3

Combine Ingredients

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.

4

Shape Pastries

Divide the dough into small portions. Shape each portion into various pastry forms such as croissants, danishes, or simple rolls. Fill some with fruit preserves, others with chocolate chips, and sprinkle some with chopped nuts.

5

Bake the Pastries

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the shaped pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

6

Glaze

Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Drizzle with a glaze made from powdered sugar mixed with a little water or milk to achieve desired consistency.
