Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook Tortellini

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the tortellini and cook according to package instructions, typically around 7-10 minutes, until they float to the top and are tender. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare Filling

In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, diced ham, chopped mushrooms, and frozen peas. Mix well until thoroughly combined. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

Assembly

  1. 3

    Fill Tortellini

Take a tortellini wrapper and place about a teaspoon of the filling in the center. Fold the wrapper over the filling to create a half-moon shape, then pinch the edges tightly to seal. Repeat until all filling is used.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Combine with Sauce

In a large skillet, add the prepared tortellini and pour in the Alfredo sauce. Gently toss the tortellini in the sauce over medium heat until heated through, about 3-5 minutes.

  2. 5

    Serve

Transfer the tortellini to serving plates, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and serve hot.
