Method

Ravioli Filling Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Beef

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.

  2. 2

    Mix Filling Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine cooked beef, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, ricotta cheese, and egg. Mix until well combined.

Ravioli Assembly

  1. 3

    Prepare Dough

Roll out pasta dough to about 1/8 inch thick. Cut into 3-inch squares.

  2. 4

    Fill Ravioli

Place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center of each square. Fold the dough over to form a triangle. Seal edges tightly with your fingers or a fork.

Breading and Frying

  1. 5

    Set Up Breading Station

Place flour, beaten eggs, and bread crumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese in three separate shallow bowls.

  2. 6

    Bread the Ravioli

Coat each ravioli in flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the bread crumb mixture.

  3. 7

    Heat Oil

In a large pot, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  4. 8

    Fry Ravioli

Fry the breaded ravioli in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Serving

  1. 9

    Serve Hot

Serve the toasted ravioli hot, with marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
