Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Salmon

Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Ensure all skin scales are removed.

  2. 2

    Season the Salmon

Sprinkle salt and black pepper evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets. Drizzle with lemon juice and let sit for 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Heat the Scampi Butter

In a large skillet, melt the scampi butter over medium heat until it starts to foam gently but does not brown.

  2. 4

    Cook the Salmon

Carefully place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin-side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy, then gently flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Serving

  1. 5

    Plate the Dish

Remove the salmon from the skillet and place it on a serving platter. Drizzle any remaining scampi butter over the top.

  2. 6

    Garnish

Sprinkle fresh dill over the salmon and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
