Method

Quesadilla Preparation

  1. 1

    Heat the Pan

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.

  2. 2

    Assemble the Quesadilla

Place one flour tortilla in the skillet. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese evenly over the tortilla. Top with another tortilla.

  3. 3

    Cook the Quesadilla

Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side, until the bottom is golden brown and the cheese starts to melt. Carefully flip the quesadilla and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the other side is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.

  4. 4

    Slice and Serve

Remove the quesadilla from the skillet, let it cool slightly, then cut it into wedges. Repeat the process for the remaining tortillas and cheese.

Guacamole Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Avocados

Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.

  2. 6

    Mash the Avocados

Use a fork to mash the avocados to your desired consistency (smooth or chunky).

  3. 7

    Add Flavorings

Stir in lime juice, diced onion, chopped cilantro, and salt to taste. Mix until well combined.

Pico de Gallo Preparation

  1. 8

    Combine Ingredients

In a bowl, combine diced tomatoes, diced onion, diced jalapeño, lime juice, chopped cilantro, and salt to taste.

  2. 9

    Mix Well

Stir the mixture until all ingredients are well incorporated.

  3. 10

    Let it Rest

Allow the pico de gallo to sit for about 10 minutes for the flavors to meld.
