Prepare the Jalapenos
While the steak is grilling, slice the jalapenos. If you prefer less heat, you can remove the seeds.
- 3
Assemble the Tacos
Once the steak is cooked, remove it from the grill pan and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Then, slice it into thin strips. Take a flour tortilla and add a portion of grilled steak, a few slices of jalapeno, and a generous amount of shredded cheddar cheese. Fold the tortilla in half to form a taco.
Sides Preparation
- 4
Heat the Black Beans
In a small pot, add the black beans along with a pinch of salt and pepper. Heat over medium heat until warmed through, about 5-7 minutes.
- 5
Prepare the Mexican Rice
If using pre-cooked Mexican rice, heat it in the microwave or on the stovetop according to the package instructions. If making from scratch, cook rice with appropriate spices and broth to create a flavorful dish.

Serve the Dish
Place the tacos on a plate alongside the warmed black beans and Mexican rice. Enjoy your Dos Cuates Tacos!
