Method

Infused Tequila Preparation

  1. 1

    Infuse the Tequila

In a large glass jar or pitcher, combine the tequila, sliced cucumber, and sliced jalapeno. Seal the jar and let it sit at room temperature for at least 24 hours to allow the flavors to meld. For a stronger infusion, you can let it sit for up to 48 hours.

Margarita Preparation

  1. 2

    Prepare the Margarita Mix

After the tequila has been infused, strain it into a shaker to remove the cucumber and jalapeno slices. Add fresh lime juice and simple syrup to the shaker. Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

  2. 3

    Prepare the Glass

Take a glass and moisten the rim with a lime wedge. Dip the rim into salt to coat it evenly.

  3. 4

    Serve the Margarita

Fill the prepared glass with ice cubes. Strain the margarita mixture into the glass over the ice and garnish with cucumber slices, a jalapeno slice, and a lime wedge.
