Method
Upper (comfort & fit)
- 1
Cut patterns
Use the measuring ruler and upper pattern template to cut the soft synthetic leather sheets, breathable mesh panels, and textile lining to the size corresponding to US kids' size 12. Ensure perforation areas are marked where breathability is needed (forefoot and vamp).
- 2
Prepare padding
Cut thin foam padding to fit the collar and tongue shapes. Glue the foam to the interior side of the upper pieces with non-toxic adhesive and allow 10–15 minutes to set.
- 3
Assemble upper layers
Layer the textile lining under the leather outer, aligning the perforated mesh panels where marked. Use the sewing machine or hand stitching to secure the mesh and lining to the leather along the edges with small, even stitches. Apply non-toxic adhesive along seams for extra bond.
- 4
Attach 3-stripe overlays
Cut the adidas-style 3-stripe overlay and position it on both sides of the upper. Stitch or glue the overlay in place, ensuring secure edges and smooth adhesion for a clean look (cloud white stripes on lucid pink background or vice versa).
- 5
Install recycled-material label
Sew or glue the recycled-material label inside the tongue or heel area so it is visible and secure, demonstrating the product's at-least-20%-recycled claim.
Outsole (firm/multi-ground)
- 6
Prepare outsole base
Trace the last for US kids' size 12 onto the durable TPU sheet and cut out the outsole shape. Mark locations for the molded conical studs, flex grooves, and reinforcement shank.
- 7
Create flex grooves & shank placement
Use the flex groove template to cut shallow channels in the forefoot area of the TPU to allow natural bending. Position and fix the reinforcement shank in the midfoot area using hot-melt adhesive; press and allow to set.
- 8
Attach studs
Heat the base of each molded conical stud lightly and press into the marked positions on the TPU outsole. Ensure even spacing (typically 6 studs per side for a total of 12) and that they are secure for both firm ground and artificial turf performance.
- 9
Bond outsole to upper
Apply hot-melt adhesive evenly to the perimeter of the outsole and to the strobel or bottom edge of the assembled upper. Align the upper to the last/outsole and use a heat press or vulcanizing press to bond at manufacturer-recommended pressure and temperature. Allow to cool under weight for 20–30 minutes for a durable bond.
Closure & finishing
- 10
Install eyelets and laces
Reinforce eyelet holes with the eyelet reinforcements. Punch evenly spaced holes along the vamp, insert reinforcements, and stitch around them if needed. Thread the flat laces through the eyelets and knot the ends to prevent fraying.
- 11
Attach heel pull tab & branding
Sew the heel pull tab to the rear collar with secure stitches. Apply branding decals in the chosen cloud white and lucid pink placement using adhesive or heat transfer methods, ensuring alignment and no bubbles.
- 12
Edge binding & topcoat
Sew or glue edge binding tape around the collar and toe seams for a clean finish. Apply a light coat of clear protective topcoat over the synthetic leather areas to improve durability and give a matte finish. Allow to dry fully (15–20 minutes).
- 13
Final inspection & sizing
Check all stitches, adhesive seams, stud security, and overall fit on the last. Trim any excess threads or material and confirm the finished cleat corresponds to US kids' size 12. Package or store in a ventilated area.
Tools & consumables notes

Use protective gloves when handling adhesives and when operating the heat press. Keep work area clean and follow machine safety guidelines for sewing machines and heat equipment. Dispose of small waste pieces responsibly to align with recycled-material principles.
