Grilled Octopus Ingredients

Method

Grilled Octopus Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Octopus

In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the octopus. Boil for 30-40 minutes until tender. Remove from water and let it cool.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Octopus

Once cooled, chop the octopus tentacles into manageable pieces. In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the octopus pieces to the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Grill the Octopus

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated octopus pieces for about 3-4 minutes on each side until you get nice grill marks and a smoky flavor.

  4. 4

    Serve

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and additional lemon wedges. Serve hot.
