Fried Sushi Roll

Prepare Sushi Rice
Rinse 1 cup of sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook the rice according to package instructions and let it cool.

Prepare Filling
In a bowl, mix the crab meat and cream cheese until well combined. Cut cucumber into thin strips.

Assemble the Roll
Place a nori sheet on a bamboo mat. Spread a layer of sushi rice evenly on the nori, leaving a 1-inch border at the top. Place crab mixture and cucumber strips in the center. Roll tightly using the bamboo mat.

Fry the Roll
Beat an egg in a bowl. Dip the sushi roll in the egg, then coat it in panko breadcrumbs. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the roll until golden brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes.

Serve
Slice the fried sushi roll into bite-sized pieces and serve with soy sauce.

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add 1 cup of edamame and cook for 3-5 minutes. Drain and sprinkle with salt.

Serve 1 cup of pre-packaged seaweed salad in a bowl, garnishing with sesame seeds if desired.
