Method

Preparing Seafood

1

Slicing the Fish

Using a sharp knife, slice the sushi-grade salmon and tuna into thin, even slices, approximately 1/4 inch thick. Ensure you keep the knife at an angle for clean cuts.

2

Preparing Shrimp

If using raw shrimp, peel and devein them. Blanch briefly in boiling water for 1-2 minutes until they turn pink, but do not fully cook.

Preparing Vegetables

3

Slicing Vegetables

Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh, slicing it into thin strips. Slice the cucumber into thin rounds or matchsticks. Thinly slice the radishes.

Serving

4

Assembling the Plate

Arrange the slices of salmon and tuna on a platter. Add the blanched shrimp, avocado slices, cucumber, and radishes around the fish.

5

Adding Condiments

Serve with a small bowl of soy sauce, a dab of wasabi, and pickled ginger on the side for dipping.
