Method
Main Dish
- 1
Prepare the Beef Lomo
In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Then add sliced beef lomo and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Add sliced onion and red bell pepper, and sauté for an additional 5 minutes. Pour in soy sauce and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the beef is well coated and vegetables are tender.
Chaufa Rice
- 2
Make the Chaufa Rice
In a separate large pan, heat a teaspoon of sesame oil over medium heat. Scramble the eggs until just set and then remove from the pan. Add the cooked rice to the pan, followed by chopped green onions and soy sauce. Stir-fry until heated through, about 5 minutes. Mix in the scrambled eggs and stir well.
Fries
- 3
Green Salad
- 4
Assemble the Green Salad
In a large bowl, combine chopped lettuce, diced tomato, and sliced cucumber. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss to combine.
Maduro
- 5
Fry the Maduro
Slice the ripe plantains diagonally into thick pieces. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the plantain slices until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Fusion Roll
- 6
Prepare the Fusion Roll
Place a nori sheet on a bamboo sushi mat. Spread a layer of sushi rice evenly over the nori, leaving a small border. Place slices of avocado, crab meat, and cream cheese in the center. Roll tightly using the mat, applying gentle pressure. Slice into bite-sized pieces to serve.
