Method

Prepare Chicken Tempura

  1. 1

    Make the batter

In a bowl, mix the tempura batter mix with cold water until smooth. Let it rest for 10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Fry the chicken

Cut the chicken breast into strips. Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C). Dip each chicken strip into the batter and fry until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

Prepare Cream Cheese Layer

  1. 3

    Mix cream cheese

In a bowl, combine cream cheese and chopped chives until well blended. Set aside.

Cook the Steak

  1. 4

    Season and cook

Season the flank steak with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Let it rest, then slice thinly.

Prepare Maduro

  1. 5

    Fry plantains

Peel and slice the ripe plantains diagonally. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat and fry the plantain slices until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes.

Make Guacamole

  1. 6

    Mash avocados

In a bowl, mash the avocados. Add lime juice, salt, and minced garlic, mixing until smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

Prepare Chimichurri

  1. 7

    Mix chimichurri

In a bowl, combine chopped parsley, minced garlic, red wine vinegar, olive oil, and red pepper flakes. Stir well and let it sit for at least 15 minutes for the flavors to meld.
