Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Preparing Vegetables

  1. 2

    Chop and Prepare Vegetables

While the pasta is cooking, wash and chop the zucchini, bell pepper, carrot, and asparagus into bite-sized pieces. Halve the cherry tomatoes.

Making the Sauce

  1. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Then, add the chopped vegetables and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until tender but still vibrant.

  2. 4

    Season the Vegetables

Add black pepper to the sautéed vegetables and stir to combine. Remove from heat and add the fresh basil, tearing the leaves into smaller pieces for better flavor.

Combining Everything

  1. 5

    Combine Pasta and Vegetables

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Toss everything together until the pasta is well-coated with the olive oil and the vegetables are evenly distributed.

  2. 6

    Serve

If desired, serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top. Enjoy your delicious Pasta Primavera!
