Cauliflower Bites

Method

Cauliflower Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. 2

    Prepare Cauliflower

Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets, ensuring they are all roughly the same size for even cooking.

  3. 3

    Make the Batter

In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Gradually add water, whisking until smooth and well combined.

  4. 4

    Coat Cauliflower

Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, allowing the excess to drip off, then place them on the prepared baking sheet.

  5. 5

    Bake Cauliflower

Drizzle olive oil over the coated cauliflower bites. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

  6. 6

    Toss in Buffalo Sauce

Remove the cauliflower from the oven and immediately toss them in buffalo sauce until well coated.

Ranch Dressing Preparation

  1. 7

    Mix Ranch Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and well combined.

  2. 8

    Chill Dressing

Cover the ranch dressing and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Serving

  1. 9

    Serve

Serve the buffalo cauliflower bites warm with the ranch dressing on the side for dipping.
