Preparation of Ingredients

  1. 1

    Prepare the Turkey

If not already prepared, slow-roast turkey until fully cooked and tender. Allow to cool, then hand-pull into pieces.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a pan over medium heat, cook the hickory-smoked honey-cured bacon until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to absorb excess grease.

  3. 3

    Slice the Vegetables

Wash and slice the lettuce, tomato, and onion. The tomato should be sliced into rounds, and the onion into thin rings.

Assembling the Club

  1. 4

    Spread the Mayonnaise

Take one slice of sourdough bread and spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on one side.

  2. 5

    Layer the Ingredients

On the mayonnaise side of the bread, layer the pulled turkey, prosciuttini ham, and one slice of provolone cheese.

  3. 6

    Add Vegetables

Place a leaf of lettuce, followed by a slice of tomato, and a few rings of onion on top of the cheese.

  4. 7

    Repeat with Additional Layers

Spread mayonnaise on a second slice of sourdough bread and place it mayonnaise side down on top of the vegetables, then repeat the layering process with the remaining ingredients.

  5. 8

    Top it Off

Finish with the last slice of sourdough bread on top. Optionally, secure the sandwich with toothpicks to hold it together.

Serving

  1. 9

    Slice and Serve

Using a sharp knife, slice the sandwich into quarters or halves as desired. Serve immediately with chips or a side salad.
