Lemon Butter Sauce

Seasonal Vegetables

Method

Preparing the Salmon

  1. 1

    Season the Salmon

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Rub the salmon fillets with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Let them marinate for about 10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Cook for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Remove from the grill and let rest.

Making the Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. 3

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant.

  2. 4

    Finish the Sauce

Stir in the lemon zest and chopped parsley. Cook for another minute and remove from heat.

Preparing Seasonal Vegetables

  1. 5

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add asparagus and carrots, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes or until tender-crisp.

Serving

  1. 6

    Plate the Dish

Place the grilled salmon on a plate, drizzle with lemon butter sauce, and serve alongside the sautéed seasonal vegetables.
