Prepare the Glass
Take a lime wedge and run it around the rim of a chilled glass to moisten it.

Add Salt to Rim
Dip the rim of the glass into a plate with salt to coat it evenly.

Mix Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, lime juice, and triple sec.

Shake Well
Add ice cubes to the shaker, cover it, and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well mixed and chilled.

Strain into Glass
Using a strainer, pour the mixture into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice or without ice, depending on your preference.

Garnish and Serve
Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass and serve immediately.
