Prepare the Glass
Fill a rocks glass with ice cubes to chill while you prepare the cocktail.

Mix Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine the Knob Creek bourbon, simple syrup, and Angostura bitters.

Stir
Add ice to the mixing glass and stir the mixture for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

Strain and Serve
Discard the ice from the rocks glass and strain the mixture into the chilled glass.

Garnish
Garnish with a twist of orange peel by expressing the oils over the drink and placing it in the glass.
