Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes into chunks. Place them in a large pot and cover with cold water. Add a pinch of salt and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

  2. 2

    Boil the Potatoes

Once boiling, reduce heat to medium and cook the potatoes for about 15-20 minutes, or until tender when pierced with a fork.

  3. 3

    Cook the Garlic

While the potatoes are cooking, mince the garlic. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat and add the minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

  4. 4

    Drain and Mash

Once the potatoes are cooked, drain them well and return them to the pot. Mash the potatoes using a potato masher or ricer until smooth.

  5. 5

    Mix Ingredients

Pour the garlic butter mixture into the mashed potatoes, along with the cream and Parmesan cheese. Stir until well combined. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Transfer the mashed potatoes to a serving dish. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
